What is the upfront capital cost for our venue? +
£0. Under our primary commercial revenue-share model, MiComfort supplies the massage chairs, contactless payment terminals, freight delivery, and white-glove installation with zero capital expenditure or upfront deposit required from your venue.
How are customer payments processed and commissions distributed? +
Every unit is equipped with a bank-grade contactless terminal accepting Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, and Mastercard. Transactions are logged via encrypted telemetrics. At the end of each calendar month, you receive an itemized performance statement and your agreed commission share transferred directly to your bank account.
What electrical supply and power socket does each chair require? +
Each chair requires only a single standard UK 3-pin wall socket (230V, 50Hz). The units are energy efficient, drawing between 150W and 200W during an active session and negligible power (< 1W) during standby mode.
How much floor space does a commercial chair station require? +
Each chair occupies a compact footprint of approximately 1.5m (Length) × 0.8m (Width). Because our commercial models utilize zero-wall clearance recline engineering, they slide forward during recline and can be positioned within 5cm of a wall without obstruction.
Who handles routine cleaning, maintenance, and technical repairs? +
MiComfort handles 100% of routine maintenance and technical servicing. Our nationwide engineering network conducts scheduled performance audits, mechanical checks, and deep sanitization protocols. In the rare event of a hardware issue, we dispatch an engineer with a 48-hour service level agreement (SLA).
Are the chairs PAT tested and covered by public liability insurance? +
Yes. All commercial chairs arrive fully PAT tested, CE and UKCA certified, and constructed with commercial-grade fire-retardant synthetic leather. MiComfort holds comprehensive commercial public liability insurance covering all active installations.
Does the payment terminal require access to our building Wi-Fi? +
No. Our contactless payment readers are standalone cellular devices equipped with multi-network UK roaming 4G SIM cards. They operate completely independently of your venue’s internal IT networks or guest Wi-Fi.
Can corporate offices or gyms lease chairs instead of revenue share? +
Yes. For private workplaces, staff breakrooms, NHS recovery lounges, and exclusive gym member suites, we offer fixed-rate tax-efficient corporate leases or outright equipment purchases with comprehensive warranty and service contracts.
